General Competition MCQ Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 10, 2026
General Competition MCQ works without an account. Study progress, bookmarks, settings, imported question files, and locally saved question reports remain on the user's device.
Who we are
General Competition MCQ is a competitive-exam learning app published by O2osell Tech. This policy explains how information is handled when the app is used.
Independent educational service
The app is not affiliated with or endorsed by any public authority, examination board, recruitment body, employer, or educational institution. It provides independently created practice material and does not provide official notices, applications, eligibility decisions, admit cards, results, or public services.
Information stored on the device
The app stores practice history, answers, scores, bookmarks, study time, settings, locally imported question-bank content, and locally saved question reports on the device. O2osell Tech does not receive this local study data. Users can reset statistics from the app's Settings screen, clear the app's storage in Android settings, or uninstall the app to remove locally stored data.
Advertising and automatically collected data
The app uses the Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob) to display banner and interstitial advertisements. Google states that this SDK automatically collects and shares the following data for advertising, analytics, and fraud-prevention purposes:
- IP address, which may be used to estimate general location;
- user product interactions, such as app launches, taps, and ad interactions;
- diagnostic information related to app and SDK performance; and
- device or account identifiers, including the Android advertising ID and app set ID where available.
Google reports that this information is encrypted in transit. Users can reset or delete their advertising ID through Android privacy settings. Google handles advertising data under its own policies. Learn more in Google's Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from apps that use its services.
Permissions
The app uses internet and network-state access to load advertisements. When a user chooses to import a JSON or CSV question file, Android's system file picker grants access only to the file selected by the user. Imported content stays on the device.
Accounts, purchases, health, and financial data
The app does not create user accounts, process purchases, collect payment or financial information, provide health features, or collect precise location, contacts, photos, messages, or official identification numbers.
Children
The app is intended for competitive-exam learners aged 18 and over and is not designed for children.
Data retention and deletion
Local study data remains on the device until the user resets it, clears app storage, or uninstalls the app. Data processed by Google Mobile Ads is retained and deleted according to Google's applicable policies and controls. Because General Competition MCQ has no user accounts and does not transmit local study records to O2osell Tech, there is no server-side study profile for O2osell Tech to delete.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the app's features, SDKs, or legal obligations change. The latest version will be posted at this URL with a revised date.
